I am thinking about getting XM Radio. Any opinions, suggestions, comments would be appreciated. I want the Alpine controller - 2nd runner up would be Pioneer. Which is best and worth it? Thanks.

 

I'd suggest the Alpine. I had it installed in my Mustang Cobra and it worked great. I plan to install it in my Z next week. XM is great--I like 80's on 8.

Question - I assume with the Bose head unit one would need to use an FM Modulator, correct?

 

hifibuys told me they could tap directly into the stereo even without an "input"

Im not sure if they were for real, havent let them do it, but they said they could...

or you could retrofit the satelite wiring in the 04 model maybe.

 

I have the delphi XM unit and love it. I used the FM modulator and it sounds better than expected.
