Watchin DVD's in my 350Z
I just bought a used 2004 Japan import 350Z .....I will have it delivered this week. I understand that the nav. screen can't do squat in Malaysia, except for the parking cameras. But there is this very reputable shop in Malaysia that sells this add-on gizmo from Taiwan that will allow me to watch DVD's on my 350Z nav. screen. They claim that for watching DVD's, the resolution and picture quality on the existing 350Z nav. screen is superior to the aftermarket installs (Pioneer, Kenwood, etc.).
I am inclined to trust this guy because he also sells the high-end aftermarket single/double DIN DVD players, but advised me to install this cheaper gizmo instead (USD400 as opposed to the USD 2K Pioneer I was originally interested in).
Does anyone have any first hand comparisons about picture quality between the nav. screen and aftermarket players?
