i recently bought an eclipse in dash navi headunit off of a guy on ebay. everyhting was legit as well as communication was great. when i recieved the unit on saturday it didnt come with the navi disc and it all of sudden has a small spider web crack in the left corner. and now he wont respond to my phone calls all of sudden. anybody have any ideas?

did you pay through paypal? file a dispute. If you didn't, your out of luck.

 

yeah it was all done through paypal. and how does all that work

 

you file a claim and they investigate it. If they find him at fault, you get your money back

Did you mean the crack occurred after you already received the unit? Make sure you dont let Paypal know that when you file your dispute.

 

u just got it on saturday, and its only tuesday. it is the start of the week and might have been busy at work

 

Your post isn't very clear: was the crack on the HU there when you got it? How well was the item packaged -- and was the box damaged when you received it?

 

the crack isnt visible unless the head unit is on with the car. the headunit was wrapped in 6 layers of bubble wrap and there isnt any damage to the box at all. the person who sold it said that it was in perfect working condition, nothing wrong and he gauranteed that it worked. he neglected to send me the navi disc, instread sent a nine inch nails cd and dvd and i dont have the lock code.
