Default Left side speakers going out?

Recently the left side speakers in my car aren't working. Occasionally when I hit a bump in the road they'll come on for a few minutes but that's about it. At first I though it would just be a loose wire or something but both sides work all the time with the radio, its when I'm listening to a cd that I get problems. What do you think I should take a look at and if anyone has any advice that would be great. Thanks

I feel your pain. Happens to my sub regularly. In for the commentary though.

It's a common problem on the stock HU. Have it replaced under warranty if you are still covered.

I had to have mine replaced.

Is it a Bose? I have a perfect working Bose head unit for sale. PM me if you are interested.
