sub installed.. bass + mirror question
the center rearview mirror shakes a lot even with low bass levels.. I thought I remembered reading stories about peoples wiring to it getting broken from it, and I just wanted some input. I don't want to break the electric features of it like auto dim and home link since I use them.
I don't really run my bass too high but the amount it vibrates still worries me a bit - is it at risk, anything I can do to better secure it?

it just shakes from the minor vibrations. I am running a single 10" and I keep it at pretty low levels - just paranoid I am going to break it I guess - no noise, just want it to be sturdy.
I'm probably just being paranoid and this is a non issue/happens to others with a sub, wouldn't mind hearing that though.
I'd really like to know if there are any creative ways to make the mirror more secure though so it doesn't vibrate as much.

I don't remember people talking about breaking wires, but there have been threads where people have broken the post of their mirror.
Doesn't sound like you're vibrating that much, though. eg. with two 12's in my Z, the mirror wouldn't stay up.. once the bass started, it would rotate down to to the stop.
