well topic pretty much says it. a friend of mine is offereing it to me at 200 with everything, just wanted to know if i should get it or wait for a V1.

if you don't want to spend $400 for the V1 get the 8500. I have both and they are both good and both have their own strengths and features. The 8500's detection is every bit as good as the v1 IMO its just the features that differ (V1 arrows vs. 8500's display, control etc).

 

if he wants to sell it, tell him I will buy it for 200 as long as it works...
