Door lock problem...

Exclamation Door lock problem...

Hey guys, Just wondering if anyone would know why when I lock my doors from eather the remote or the door panel my drivers side locks and my passinger side unlocks? only way to have both door locked is to manualy lock the pas door from inside. Any body know what it could be?

Sounds like the wiring is backwards for the passenger side.

The lock pulse wire is connected to your unlock.

Has this always been an issue or just recently?

Thats kinda what I was thinking.. Its been a prblem ever sence I baught the car. Ive just been too busy to take the door panel off. Ill be installing new door speakers soon so Ill take a look then. Thanks for the help!

Well you shouldn't have to open your door to fix this, the passenger door lock/unlock should be at the bcm.

I'd double check down there, sounds like someone took out (or tried to install) an aftermarket alarm system and f'd up.

Read this, few posts down should see the passenger lock/unlock wire colors @ bcm.
