factory BOSE problem
so, IDK why (obviously), but the factory sub behind the drivers seat (like you guys needed to be told where it was) likes to cut in and out quite often, is this a grounding or other electrical related issue i can fix in my spare time or is it time to get a new speaker
what kind of additional info would you need? just off the top of my head as far as what i think would help, everything is completely factory i.e. headunit, door speakers, tweeters, sub, so it's not possible that an aftermarket component threw it out of whack....
next on my list of likely issues is the sub amp - since they are Pieces of Crap...
see TSBs at bottom
http://www.*********.com/zwiki/Audio_%26_Video Change the *** out with threefiftyz-tech (but in numbers...) stupid my350 won't let you link to them. **** Germany over here
It could be the sub, as it is also a piece of crap. (notice the trend)
if u can't find the culprit I'd personally just unplug the sub until you have the cash to run aftermarket stuff....the Bose system is **** poor.

there are no bad connections, it's the sub amp, I had the same problem... go to nissan and buy it or find it somewhere else... the sub amp is only $150, tell them you work for enterprise rent a car and itll save you 33% :-D.. I think the stock bose sounds amazing.. ive had many aftermarket setups in other cars but I will tell you the bose sounds great, i dont know about the reliability, but it sure sounds good
