I know grounding an amp is very important to prevent overheating and unwanted noise. Where do you guys ground your aftermarket amps in the 350z?

 

"Where" you ground your amp isn't nearly as important as "how" you do your grounds.

I always use an instrument to test the ground, and am careful to never create a "ground loop." If you follow the simple rules for grounding, you never have a problem.
