Default Amp dead?

I had my sub box disconnected for about 6 months and everything was working fine before then. Now after reconnecting the wires back to the enclosure I get no response from the sub. Being the audio newb that I am the only thing I could check was to check if the amp was getting power which it is. I also double checked the output cabling to make sure it working. Any ideas what could be up? Is there any sort of reset or anything on the amp I could try, lol. Help a newb out!!

Sub: JL 10W6V2
Amp: JL 250/1 Mono D Class Slash series.

Many thanks!

the lights on so thats good. you sure you have the sub wired correctly ( + to + and - to - ) also if you have a voltage reader check the power and ground to make sure its a 12.4 i believe or 12.6 reading and then check the remote control turn on cable to make sure that is reading the same voltage. put the positive terminal on that cable while you put the negative terminal on the ground cable. if all readings are good, perhaps theres a subwoofer turn on feature on your headunit? (not sure if your running aftermarket or factory) also check your rca cables to make sure they are in all the way and in correct position.

lmk if your still having problems.
