where can I get factory stereo brackets?

Default where can I get factory stereo brackets?

I've seem to mis-placed stock stereo bracket. I need this as I'm planning to install Pioneer AVIC-F700BT. Where can I get this or ourchase a similar bracket? Thanks in advacne.

hummm id try a nissan dealership. I really dont know to be honest. I had the same problem but i finally found my stock radio. Call up the parts department at a local nissan and see what they say.

are you talking about the metal brackets, that mount on the side of the radio?

i think i have a set laying around, i would have to check

Yes, metal brackets on the side of factory stereo.

On a side note, can i install something like Pioneer AVIC w/out it? Would mouning kits hold it in place?

no you cant i believe install the avic d3 w.o them, they are required to hold the unit in place.

Same problem... nissan sells em for $72 each! Trying to find a salvage yard as I search the net

Look for someone selling stock stereo. If you ask, they might just sell you the brackets for cheap. I was lucky enough to find the seller.
