PAC Audio SWI-X - Where did you mount the IR LED?
So, the guys here who have the PAC Audio SWI-X for your aftermarket HU...
Where did you mount your IR LED? Pitures or description of mount location please!
Also, while searching for threads and DIY's that may have shown a mount location, I noticed a lot of people removed their steering wheel to install the PAC Audio SWI-X.
WHAT THE HELL DID YOU GUYS DO THAT FOR?
You can tap into the harness that plugs into your stock Bose headunit which is obviously located in the center console with no steering wheel removal needed...

i never installed mine but i was gonna put it just in one of the storage areas that flip down in the plastic behind the seat. That way if i wanted to take it out i could just replace that cover and wouldnt have a hole.

I saw a write up and the guy put the whole SWI-X back there as well as the IR led.
Mine is behind the head unit. I have my console all put back together right now and the SWI-X is programmed. I have the cord tucked away ready to be run/mounted.
It is long enough to run it back there. I may try it when I get home.
