What year Avenger? Not sure if the antenna is the same for all years...how long is it?

And - does it line up better than s2k antenna? Just curious - I don't think the original Nissan antenna is hideous - but like the 'stubby' look.

I got a perrin short antenna. It was $29, but the base is flush with the rest of the Z. Antenna reception isn't that great, i have the antenna amplifier hooked up with my aftermarket stereo. I don't listen to the FM much unless I am in the city, but it looks great. I forgot where I got the antenna originally, but here is it:

So it sounds like there's not much of a reception improvement, changing over to a Honda S2000 Antenna. So whats the point in the swap? Is it just because its a little shorter thant the stocker? Way too much time on your hands.........................

My reception is TERRIBLE now with the s2k antenna. But it does look much better.

reception sucked for me when i had my s2k antenna, i listen to the radio all the time. so i now have the s2k in my glove box and my oem on my car.
