My question is, have you noticed anything different regarding am/fm signal/reception? Considering the S2000 has a shorter length just curious. I listen to FM/AM most

The reception on mine is exactly the same as it was before I swapped it out. Granted I never take it from town to town. so I can't say if there is a difference while out in the boonies. It stays around town.

I just got back from a meet and I saw one dude had s2k antenna on his Z and it doesn't flush... the antenna is wider than the base and I just ordered the antenna from another forum member yesterday
I don't know about reception tho but it sucks that it doesn't flush

got the rdx antenna. I think it's pretty similar to the s2000 antenna.. maybe a bit dimensional difference. it's the same as stock for general fm reception, but i've noticed that if you use a fm transmitter for your ipod (weaker signal), the stock is significantly better.
