OK guys I am looking for a SQ Sub that I can push if I want to.... I have the DLS A6 is the amp that will be running it and if you need specs for it here they are:
Number of channels 1
Amplifier class AB
Output power in 4 ohm 500 W
Output power in 2 ohm 870 W
Mono bridge mode 4 ohm N/A
Output power in 1 ohm 1200 W
Damping factor > 200
S/N ratio, A-weighted > 100 dB
Frequency range 10 Hz - 125 Hz
Input sensitivity 0,2 - 7 V
Input impedance, high level N/A
Input impedance > 10 kohm
High pass filter Subsonic: 25 Hz
Low pass filter 50-125 Hz
External cooling fan terminal 1
Dual DC inputs 1
Remote base level control 1
Remote phase shift control 1
Integrated fan 1
Power consumption (idle) 0,6 A
Power consumption (max) 140 A
Rec. power cable Minimum 2AWG / 33 mm2
Fuses 4 x 35 A
Dimension (W x D x H) 410 x 240 x 73 mm (16,15 x 9,45 x 2,87 inch)

What 10 inch sub or subs if need be would you get if you could spend 700 for one or about 1000 if you were to run two of them? Looking for some help guys and thank you in advance.

LOL not to come off as a bad guy but I have a 10w6v2 and that is what I will be getting rid of and replacing. If you want one that has never had power run to it ill sell it to you. Send me a PM. JL Audio is overpiced for what they are and will not be in the same ball park to the subs that people are about to mention. I have a few subs in mind ut I wanna see what people say first.

I have to say for a more natural sound go with high quality 8" speakers and go with more than 2. I have had 10s, 12s, and a 15 and they are great for SPL but not SQ. Nothing will deliver a wider frequency than a good 8 or even a set of 6s for that matter. One of the nicest systems I ever heard was 4 8s in a custom enclosure. 2 were sealed and 2 were ported. sounded great but it was back by an amazing system as well.

I agree that a lot of 8s would sound good but I would like the ability of getting some deep bass that the 8s will not provide... I am dead set on a 10 or 10s. Thanks for the imput though.

There's no question as to what sub I would get no matter what my budget was and that would be an Image Dynamics iDMax. I like SQL and this sub is probably the best of both worlds. It has a great ability to blend with the front stage and has plenty of output for people who like it loud. With good processing and enough power I think this sub can compete with the best of them.

Two words: Thiele and Small.
These two Australian audio engieers back in the 1960's published papers with formulas which allow a speaker builder to tailor the sound of their subwoofers enclosure. Nearly five decades later speaker manufactures are still publishing the Thiele/Small parameters. Basically you can take a given speaker motor and make it sound good or bad depending on the volume of the enclosure it's mounted in. The reason some folks have good or bad experiences with their subwoofers often has to do with their set-up and not the speaker itself: over powered amplifier, under powered amplifier (pretty common), air gaps, or a poorly designed enclosure.
Since with the Z you're got pretty few choices where to put a subwoofer it's best to work backwards and find an enclosure and then look at the speakers who's Thiel/Small parameters match. But that said most people either go with what's pretty, what's popular, or what's loudest.

I was going to suggest lookign at Digital Designs also.....
yes...they make some of the loudest subs in the world, but they have sick SQ, too. I used to run a pair 9515d subs in my dB Drag Race Street setup (back in 2002)....they were so tight and quick. They put any 10" woofer to shame in they transient response and articulation. .....and I am talking about a pair of 15s!!!!!! I had the chance to compete at a show In Palm Beach....It just happened that JL Audio had their demo vehicle (with a pair of 13W7s) there. they were playing a version of Hotel California for demoing the whole system.
I just happened to have the same song ....and started to play it too. My setup was the DD 9515s powered by a (roughly 8000 watts of mmats power!!!!), vifa XT25 tweets and DD 6.5" mids powered by a vinatge ADS PQ20. with the subs turned WAYYYYYYYY DOWNNNNN to an appropriate level to match the mids/highs....this setup was beautiful. Several people A/B'd my system to the JL system as did I.....there was no comparison.
anyways......JL makes decent stuff....but they are marketing people. they haven;t gotten very big and gotten away from their Speaker Warehouse roots and pure competing. now, it's about selling lots of product!!!!
Look into Digital Designs. custom built and worth every penny!!!! You won't be disappointed.
finally, as Paul350z said.........the enclosure makes the woofer! having a true professional subwoofer specialist build you enclosure. you need to make the woofer work with the enclosure and work with your vehicle. That's what I did for years.....I was damn good at it, and really took pride in my subwoofer cabs. there really is no perfect box for all setups. find a great installer and work with him on your goals if you are really serious about sound. if you just think you need an "SQ" setup, but don't really have an ear for it.......alot of basic designs will do.....and you'll be happy.

I've been out of the game for a couple of years, but the Infinity Perfects were always high on people's list.
You cant go wrong with Sea's. They have very high end stuff.
A lot of people had I.D's too.
