06 Bose headunit will work in 03?
Hi guys, I am having the driver side speakers cut out problem, and I am just wondering if the problem will be solved if I just replace the headunits. I came across with an 06 Bose headunit, I just wondering if its a plug and play, or I am SOL just get a new aftermarket headunit?
Thank you !
Thank you !
best buy will hook up anything you bring them... a stock system into another car they will hook you up... the thing is they are pricey for installations but if ANY problems happen to your car that is related to the way its hooked up they will pay for all repairs and fix your system back up... GARANTEED... i had an is300 ive had done at crazy places cuz they were cheap... but best buy has always came out clean they always use top of the line wires... but i think thats the best thing to do if theres anydoubt on what you think the outcome could be.... but i mean if your trying to save money and do it yourself... i think it would work because i have buddies that install systems and the bose system should be able to handle the same wires. if you take out the old system and the speakers fit the same way then your alright..

If you do elect to replace the H/U, any double-din device fits the space, including OEM Bose units from newer Z's.

I'm assuming your car has the Bose "upgrade." The speaker cut-out you describe is a common problem (as you mention). You don't need to to replace the H/U to fix this.
