Default Car Audio Question

Hey guys i have a question about car audio. Here is what i want. Some bump in the trunk basically. The stock bose isnt cut it. So my question is i want to spend around 100 dollars for an amp and a 100 dollars on a sub, now alot of u are probably thinken oh well he wants shitty stuff then but im kind of a bargain shopper and i shop for days/weeks to look for a really good deal on that. So what im thinking is i want 1 10 inch sub and a 600+ watt amp. Thats what my buddies were sayin that have systems. So basically i need to get a sub and an amp. What kinds are good what kinds are bad. Better for the z or suck for the z. anything helps. Remember im lookin for cheap but decent. I dont want top of the line im not picky when it comes to sound i just want it to bump without raddling and crackling and stuff. Just want a clean nice sound.

eBay worked out for me - i got 2 new JL 10 inch subs for 222. You can't top the sound quality of JL.

you wont get a decent jl sub for 100 dollars, it will prob be a old model crap sub..if you hunt around, you can find brand new kicker comp VR 10inch subs for around that much, that are putting out anywhere from 200-600 watts RMS and some even get to 800 watts peak power. for that price and that punch, you cant beat it, now amp wise u might have a little trouble, but even a little 1000 watt crunch amp for like 80 bucks would be fine..not the best quality, but it will get the job done...as far as JL goes, no you cant really beat JL subs, but thats because you have to spend some good money to get some decent one...shop around, you will find what you want..just thought id throw in some info

you can get an american pro 600 watt amp for about 70 bucks. Crutchfield has polk subs for under a hundred. you would have some decent sound that way and still have 30 bucks to spare.
