DNX8120 Wiring Question
can someone tell me where to connect the PWK SW wire? and the blue wire from my amp do i connect that wire to EXT CONT (external amplifier control wire pink/black) or the AMP turn on wire (blue and white wire)??
thanks in advance

You can just ground the parking wire. It will allow the video to work while you're moving.
Are you sure the blue wire is the amp wire? I'm thinking it is the antenna amplifier, not the stereo amp.
Are you using a wiring harness? I used a Metra harness and it had all of the connections pretty well defined. I know on the 8120 harness and the Metra, the blue and white is the stereo amp wire (power control wire).

If you're using the Metra harness, you should connect the blue/white from that harness to the blue/white coming out of the HU. This is your power control/amp turn on wire.
The blue wire on the Metra harness connects to the blue wire coming out of the HU. This is your power antenna wire. We don't have a power antenna, but there is an signal amp for the antenna.

The relay 1 and 2 wires come into play if you connect other, non-stereo stuff. Some people have run relays to pop the trunk lid, open garage doors, etc. I haven't done this, so I'm clueless, but you don't need to do anything with those for the stereo to function.
cool man thanks, not i get it, but what about my amp where do i connect the wire that turns the amp on and off? i have Kenwood KAC-8104D

Now one last question, all the pieces to the puzzle falling into place, the EXT CONT (external amplifier control wire pink/black) wire that comes from the Head unit, what is this wire for?
I'm not sure about that one. I'm using the stock Bose speakers, so I don't have that one connected. Since you have a Kenwood amp, it may be needed. You might contact Kenwood directly or you could PM THEDUKE on here. He's very knowledgeable about the Kenwood stuff. My knowledge is pretty basic. Once you get it all hooked up, you'll LOVE this unit.
