Ok so after messing with the install all day... I finally installed Alpine 9887 and hard wired the Garmin Nuvi 760 into the navigation cubby. I have the wiring for the whole system but I didn't get my speakers back from Bing yet nor did I get my sub amp (Alpine PDX 600.1) and I don't have my sub yet. All of this should come next week and I plan on installing it next weekend. Because disconnecting the three gauges was pain in the *** and I already had the whole dash apart, I connected the RCA cables to the head unit and routed them back to the glove box as well as the amp turn on wire. I taped all RCA cables and amp turn on wires with electrical tape and it's just sitting there.
Am I not getting any sound from the head unit because RCA cables are connected but are not plugged into the amps?
Also, after I connected everything and turned on the car the "Service Engine Soon" light came on. Why is this? I did not disconnect the battery when I was doing the install... I think this is probably why the light is on... from doing a search on this... I have to disconnect the battery, pump brake pedal few times to drain the ECU and then reconnect the battery. Correct?
Here are the pics of where I grounded the head unit and on the other side I grounded the lighter plug female receptor which I did not take the picture of.
P.S. I know that I'm missing the right plastic clip in the navigation cubby and the rubber is not on it yet.

Nevermind guys... I spoke to the guy that sold the stuff to me and he said that he didn't even connect the wires on the harness for the stock speakers... lol
Did you run your speaker wire from the amp to your fronts yet? May want to knock that out while you are at it
You either are going to run the speaker wire from the amp up through the door molex, or a better idea, run the speaker wire back up to behind the head unit and cut them into the aftermarket HU harness, which will have you using the stock speaker wire from the harness to the speakers.
