Is the Direct Wire SmartCord what I would need to buy to run the power cord behind the roof and down to the dash area? Where exactly do you run the cord anyway?

Also interested in one of these mounts.

 

Yeah that cord will have to be tapped in to some other power source. To avoid cutting any wires on your car I would recommend getting the mini add-a-circuit from any auto parts store and using the slot in the fuse box for your sideview mirrors . It's a real easy installation... 15 minutes max.

1st post on My350z.com! i'm from ******* and someone told me that some here made the mount that i wanted for radar detectors. finally found the thread! please tell me you still make these?

Guys since I don't have a Z I have a mount still in my possesion so $15 shipped and I will send it out. The mount has the Z log on it and in excellent shape just the normal usage seen on it.
