The connections I made at the back of the Bose head unit are shown in my PDF diagram (see first post.) Those are the only ones I know anything about based on information I got from other helpful Z owners. There are two plugs—one for the power wires and one for the speaker wires. A shop manual would indicate which wires are used for the subwoofer, speakers, etc.
I was mainly interested in getting power from there—both the constant 12V from the battery and the switchable 12V from the Accessory circuit. In addition, I wanted to hook to the circuit that dims the dash lights when the headlights are on for my video monitor.
As for the other devices, the Alpine monitor's control box (see previous photos) has inputs for optional audio/video sources. That's where I added stuff like the iPod connection. All the audio output goes to the FM modulator under the Bose unit. I hope to add a rear video camera some day since there is a connection for one on the control box.

From pictures of navigation screen, it looks like you are in Tallahassee area. Me too. Do you think this is an insall that Stereo Sales or Circuit City could handle?
