Default Help with Power Acoustik cubby install...

hey guys i have a little problem after i installed my power acoustik cubby screen. I have power to the screen and everything turns on but when its turned on it says No Signal. There is a yellow rca cable coming out from behind the screen and i have it plugged into a yellow rca video input cable from the H/U. The H/U is a Pioneer Avic F900BT. I think i have it plugged into the correct spot. I would like to get it where i can run the navigation off the screen and still mess with my radio on the H/U. Can someone instruct me on how do fix it or help me do this. Thanks Guys

You need to connect to the video output cable on the head unit.

I'm not sure if you'll be able to do what you are trying to do, I think you might be stuck with 2 displays of the same thing, but either way please post it here.

I'll look on avic411.com and see if I can find anything helpful and related to this for you.

The pioneer site says it has a composite video output.

Its been a while since I've had my unit out so I don't remember, but it makes sense there is an output if for nothing other than rear seat monitors.

Edit - and I found nothing in a preliminary search of avic411, although I was able to find some more things I can do to my 700bt to steal features from the 900

I'm not saying it isn't possible. the only thing I have with an RCA input is my 42" TV thats in my house, so I can't really test this with a secondary screen.

There is a video out cable, connect to it. You are connected to a video in cable, that won't work.

This is the hook up for all extra monitor's, I think, my hook up, Clarion MAX675VDII H/U video out to "FARENHEIT 1 IN 4 OUT VIDEO SIGNAL BOOSTER" (box) to Monitor (I only have one monitor in the back for my son, G35 Coupe). Do you have one of these box hooked up? Hope that helps.

For my setup you did not need that box, I had it hook up to Kenwood DNX7100. The monitor does not come with that box and I don't think you need it. Have you tried switching to AUX? I read that you can have video on the screen and nav on the HU with the F900BT but that's it. Try searching for the answer on avic411. I read of people playing video on a screen but it does not say how its hooked up.
