Head unit problem?

Default Head unit problem?

Ok so my buddy decided to turn the volume up way too high (gay song came on) and before i could try to lower it my head unit turned off. When i got home i checked the wiring and everything looked ok. Does anyone know what could have happened im getting sorta tired singing to myself when i drive around thanks. I have an alpine cde 9846 HU

Did you check the fuse?

EDIT: Not the fuse(s) in your car’s fuse-block, but instead the inline or internal fuse in your H/U (or maybe the fuse in your external amp if you are connected to an external amp that has its own fuse or safety-breaker).
