Default anyone using Powerlink line output converters ?

i'm running a 5 channel kicker amp off my stock radio - i installed2 of these: http://www.crutchfield.com/S-VwqGpJj...w.asp?I=101PL2 --

i put them on to get rid of the engine whine i was getting, and it worked great for a month or two, but the sound is slowly coming back.

is anyone else having this problem ?

Check grounding and wire routing.

Check impedance from inputs to your amps to ground. Should be high. If not, suspect amp could be the problem.

Unplug all components and reconnect one at a time to see where noise is coming from.

This can be a real pain to track and eliminate, but you should be able to get total silence. The loc is rarely the problem.

Is the input to the line converter the leads that previously went to the speakers, or are you going directly from the factory HU ? If you bypassed the factory amps, then it's the wrong converter.

You would need the following available from www.linkmeup.com/pd4.htm (also an AudioLink converter)
