Default OEM GPS and Rearview Camera

Anyone tried or have working a rearview camera with the stock GPS? I had a camera in my last car and wuold like one in the Z. Can I use the GPS as a monitor for a camera?

i have

i use the stock nav normally. when i put the gear in reverse the cameras turn on.

I love your set up. Can you tell me what is needed for the camera and how you hooked it up to the stack Nav. I have a 2006. Not sure if that is going to make a differance. Sweet setup, congradulations!!

yeah thanks. i use a converter box to get the signal from the stock nav to accept an A/V input. with that box you can plug in a back up camera and a second video source.

with my set up, i can use it as stock nav, a second screen for the carputer, and a back up camera when its in reverse.

you can get the box for 200 on ebay.

wiring is really straight forward.

on for the reverse wire i just tapped into the reverse wire in the trunk area behind the driver side seat.

i didnt get mines from this company i got mine from like nav2go or something like that. but im sure its the same thing.
