Hey I am new to this thread and I have a 2003 Z w/ the boss sound system but the cd player causes the cd's to skip so I am wondering if it is possible to take out the boss factory stereo and put a aftermarket one in there cause I went on best buy and there is nothing that fits it says.

 

Yes it's possible... Look for single or double din headunits on crutchfield first and use their vehicle compatibility chart, then go on eBay or Amazon and get one.

It's not very hard to install, but it's time consuming.

Yes.... It's called a double-din headunit. Visit the audio/video section of this forum for the 350z.


One question: Are you sure it's not your CD that's at fault? I noticed my CD skips and it's because of my CD.

 

I thought it was the cd at first but atleast a couple songs on each cd skip and 1 cd the whole thing skipped.

 

Yes! You can fit a screen in there!
