Default Attn Pioneer P4000DVD Owners

I purchased one last year and have it installed in my car.

My car originally had a BOSE system. When installing this headunit, the installers used some kind of Bose adapter to make sure it works with the sub.

After the install, the sub doesn't pound like it used to. I have tried various different settings. Can someone here post there equalizer settings on their headunit? Anyone using a standalone equalizer to fix the problem?

I'm getting a Zune player from eBay and im going to use it for TV-out on this deck with the Zune remote, so it should be awesome, but I want to fix this sub problem first.

Thx

Do you know if they used an adapter that utilized the pre-outs? (assuming it has pre-outs).
I don't have a Pioneer, but my Kenwood has more base than it did when I ran the Bose. Although my unit has a 13 band EQ plus a whole lot of other settings.
