Rear view camera

Rear view camera
Got me Z about a month ago and worried about curbing it all the time.
I am going to get a Pioneer 700 or 900 BT very soon and wondering if any rear view camera will work with it or do I have to buy the ND-BC2 ?
If there are other cheaper, better, smaller any alternative let me know
Also can I put this in the front and back? there are plugs for both in the head unit that will allow me to do this correct? [I have seen on other head units that when you through it in reverse it automatically goes to the Rear view]
Simple install? put camera is spot above license plate, run wires and plug into HU I take it? doesn't seem too difficult.

It's a pretty straight forward install. You can use any camera as long as it takes a 12v or has a converter that goes to 12v and the signal is RCA or can be converted to RCA.
The benefit of the ND-BC2 is that it reverses the image to make backing up easier, in case you use it to back up. (I find the back up camera useful for spotting small objects, children and anything I can't see in the dark. Backing up should be done the old fashion way.)
The Pioneer F-series has a cable that connects to your accessory line. You tap this into your backup light and it will automatically engage the rear-view camera when you go in reverse.

How about front camera? same setup and same install basically?
I can use same camera also?
I need this for fronts also because where I work I can't backup into a spot because they don't allow it and the sidewalk/curbs are HUGE! (fans outside suck air into building + car exhaust = bad)

I guess it's kind of cool if you feed the signal to a video recorder for track purposes but it's not too practical for parking.

I'll just start backing up everywhere I go and make use with my mirrors and the rear view cam
