Default Spray Adhesive/RAAMmat MLC ensolite

So I just purchase some RAAMmat MLC ensolite material, figured minus well try it out. I figured I'd just purchase some spray adhesive since it will need it and want to know what sort of adhesive you guys would use. Only think I could find quickly was some "3M General Purpose 45" from homedepot for like $5 a can. So will prob get then unless someone else can recommend something that I can purchase locally that would be better. Will be installing it tomorrow, probably shouldn't have waited until late minute but o well.

Raammat is actually really good. As far as adhesive, 3m is an all-around good brand so you can't go wrong with that.

BTW- it's "might as well" not "minus well".

Ask Rick for his recommendation, I used the adhesive he sales and three years later everything is still holding up as well as it did on day one.

I just hope this helps more than the dynamat extreme. I installed that a couple weeks ago and didn't seem to notice any difference at all, only did trunk/hatch area though. Planning on doing this in the trunk/hatch and then dynamat extreme along with something else in the doors. Really trying to get rid of the road noise. Getting tires realigned tomorrow.

You won't get rid of the road noise.

you can reduce some, but this car, like most sports cars, sits to low to the ground. Its just not a luxury car.

when i filled all the doors and trunk of my mazdaspeed6 with RAAMat it noticeably reduced the road noise. i used 3M 77 adhesive for the ensolite. while the Z is a different car, i would expect a significant reduction of noise if you do the doors and under the carpet of the hatch.

I talked to my installer whos gonna be installing all my audio stuff next week and he recommended a brand called "DAP" I mentioned the 3m stuff and he told me that those adhesives made by 3M cause brain tumors.
