Default L.E.D. indicator on alarm

On the factory alarm, I installed a L.E.D in place on the original bulb which was blown. I followed this write up (https://my350z.com/forum/body-interi...placement.html)

Installed it today, correctly. So my question I am getting at hehe...

when the car is armed, the L.E.D is on constant. When it is not armed it flashes. When the key is in/car is on, it is off like it should be.

Is this ok? I am just worried that it would run my battery down to have the l.e.d. remain on constant.

Any feedback would be great, thanks!

Yeah I know led's use very little power. Just wondering say if it sat for a few days.

Not sure why it would remain on while it is locked??

Yeah it's supposed to flash when the system is not armed - I believe it's just to show that the engine immobilizer is on (not sure on this) but the LED won't kill your battery; they use such little power that it's negligible

Well silly me never thought to look at the owners manual... Since I have had the car, the indicator light has never worked so I wasn't aware it takea 30 seconds to start to flash

Thanks for the reply's!
