So I just got a DDX812 installed about a week ago and was curious if there was any way to play video on it besides ipod/dvd disk. I have an older ipod that works with the unit but cannot hold video and I tried a usb stick but it wouldn't seem to read video off of it. Any ideas?

 

I think those are your only options. As far as I know, you can't play video off a usb stick.

 

I could have sworn I saw someone playing video off a usb hd? Does anyone know for sure if video can be played off a hd onto the unit.
