Default Sub JL 10W6V2

So i want to get that sub and match it with a 150x2 JL amp and bridge it to 300x1. I looked on JL's site and 300 watts is about borderline between best performance and being on the low side. I just wanted to know from real world experience if i can get away with powering this sub with this amp, thanks.

You "could" get away with it...It will sound good but it won't be optimal performance. If you don't power a sub with enough RMS power, then clipping can occur (where a sub doesn't get enough power for best performance). In the long run, you might damage a voice coil.

Keep looking and you can find something that will fit perfect. I would follow the recommendation of the site. JL has been amazing quality for a long time for a reason
