I am looking at a local trade for my Memphis 16-ST1000D amp. I love my amp since it's been nothing than short of excellence. How is the quality of an Autotek Mean Machine 3000.1? I know that it's an over kill for my car, but thought that I could use it someday when I get a G35X or possibly a G37. I currently have 2 10" Cerwin Vega Strokers that are 2000 watt RMS 4000 watt max. Both are 2 ohm dVC. I will have to put $200 on top of my trade.

I'm not looking for approval or dissapproval. I'm just looking for honest answers to why I shouldn't trade it. And yes, I am looking to upgrade my amp to a more powerful amp.

Edit: Forgot to mention that it's a Mean Machine 3000.1.

I would get it, but I would no need for my Memphis if I had a more powerful amp. Holding on to it does me no good unless I am a scavenger of old hard/rare to get amps.

 

Sounds like the memphis isn't providing you enough power. Heard good things about Autotek, I would definitely get it.

 

An update. I have sold my amp. I will be replacing it with a Kicker ZX 2500.1, Earthquake PHD 5000, or a Hifonics amp in the range of 2000-3000 watts. Thanks for your input.
