10" Eclipse Titanium in Stock Location in a zR
I have a convertible so I only have 2 option, trunk or the OEM location. My current set-up is in the trunk, which doesn't take up too much space. I don't like it due the the fact that it viberate alot back there. Yes there's dynomat but it doesn't help too much. This set-up uses a;
12" Sony Sub 300RMS@4Ohm 1300Watt Peak
Kenwood K9210D (I believe) pushing 500RSM@4 and 850RSM@2
For those who's wondering about the bass respond, well it's there, nice and tight depending on the song. BTW the bumper viberates the most, since that was the thing that didn't get dynomated.
For those who's wondering why I didn't just use the 10" Eclipse in the first place, it's due to the mounting depth. The current box (fiberglass at the bottom) it's deep or has enough air space for it.

Currently my car is in the shop getting the sub box made out of fiberglass in the OEM sub conpartment. I'll try to go there everyday to take updated pictures of everything and also to see how things are coming along.
Here's what will be done:
Tint the Driver/Pass Window 20% Tint
Sub box for the 10" Eclipse Titanium
Mount the JL 1000.1 in the Glove box, keeping the glove box as well.
Dynomatting the Doors, Convertible Top Conpartment.

I like! Thinking about to going to a single 10" in the stock location as well. I currently have the under strut bar box with 2 10"s and the bass is too much. One sub would be completely sufficient for my needs and save me room as well.

wow this is exactly what I wanted to do with the stock location in mine. Did you get a chance to measure out how much air space is there? It looks like a bit over 1 cuft to me.

I believe with the Nazar Magic Box or watever it's call has about 1.0Cube Ft of air, This will be alot bigger then that box. I asked the installer I believe they said it would come to 1.5-2 I forgot since it was about 1month before I took the car in.

Well, I wasn't able to come there to take updates pictures of the process but here's the finish product.
There's no vibration at all from the inside/outside, that's the best part. I have two of these sub but I only got one put in but I might change my mind. It needs to be clean, I was to lazy to wipe it down.
