a).. my amps are under the seats. i have the speakerwires running under the carpet and up around the edge of the interior (behind the plastics)
you will most likely have to dismantle many of the plastic panels to do this
b).. fiberlass: ....tape everything off so as not to get any resin on the car!!!!! . build a frame for the fiberglass to attach to..(i used 1x1 square dowel rods. begin laying fiberglass to conform to the cars wheel well. once it is thick enough i attached a sheet of MDF on top and trimmed and sealed it ..

the box is a fiberglass mold of the the spare tire well... believe me it fits like a glove!... doesnt budge once it is put in place.. but is also removable.
if those subs were 1/4" deeper they would not have fit
they are 2 infinity perfect 12.1D dual voice coil subs.. i have them running off a 1200watt jbl mono amp at 1ohm
they hit like a ****.. did i mention that is 1200 watt RMS??? ..
Here's the link of my amp rack pics, i'll post one pic, but if you want more with the amp cover, click on this link.
Toykilla, I bet it sounds awesome. I have a 1000BD pushing my 12's also. It sounds wonderful compared to the 10" I used to have.
