Default Just installed an Eclipse Avn726e

I just installed a new receiver in my dash and Im having a problem. I came here thinking another Z driver maybe has had a similar problem.

the jist of it is I have no "bass". I turn up the volume and my EQ goes flat. Where as the factory CD player gave quite a bit more bass. I have a bad feeling this new receiver bypassed the amp. I still ahve the factory sub and speakers, no further interior modifications.

It seemed pretty obvious since when it was installed there were two plugs that were plugged into the stock cd player that are now just sitting unused now. Im not sure what those are for. The new receiver has no place to plug them in.

Does anyone know what the two extra plugs are for or possibly know of an adapter or extra piece of hardware I would be missing that would fix the fact that these two plugs are now dangling in the back, not being used.
