Yes I did but has been replaced twice, So once I knowticed that something was going on with the cd player posible cross wiring or something I rewired the hold thing and replaced the fuse ... at that point i got tired of it for the day and was going to put the stock unit back in but it wont come back on on, but it will allow me to spit out the cd that i forgot was in there so i know some kind of power is going to it ....

Check the power mirror fuse...yes the mirror fuse lol. Nissan lists it as fuse #6. It sounds like the constant battery power circuit is good but not the accessory power circuit. I say this because if I remember correctly, you can remove a cd with key off on the stock unit, indicating the constant power source is probably working. The mirror fuse is part of the same circuit as the accessory (on) power source to the radio.

Did you any work recently? Make sure everything went back properly, specially connectors.
Also, check the fuses and if anything else stopped working...

Dude, you are a legend. A Mother 'Effing legend. I was replacing my 2006 Roadster Bose (I'm the original owner) with a JVC and I had 4 calls to Crutchfield and a full day of pissing off my wife because it's Christmas Eve and you had the answer. I now have voltage on my red wire. God Bless Ye, if you even still monitor this account.
