Default Factory Bose System Questions

I was wondering if the upgrade to a Touring edition is really worth it, the high points to me are the leather seats and the Bose stereo system. I was wondering if it is worth it move up to a touring because of the stereo. Is it a very nice system? Or should I go for an enthusiast without the system?

Pretty much ALL factory stereos are crap. I, personally, would not count the Bose system as a worthwhile deciding factor. I would go enth and take the $$ and apply it to mods, like a decent after market sound system.

DO NOT buy any model because of the BOSE. It is not a superior radio by any means. I would upgrade for leather though.

There is not one reason to upgrade to the BOSE system model. They are not worth it at all and also a real pain to upgrade in the future. The people that think that they are wort it do not know what it rely dose to the audio. The system processes the music and than sees were your volume is, as you turn that volume up the system detect what signals in the music will distort the system and starts fading them out. So as you turn up your volume your highs and lows are being faded out. Even if you were to upgrade the factory sub the system will still do this or with any other speaker. In the end it will cost more to upgrade the BOSE system than a stock one.
