The GPS has been holding up great! I've had it for about 4 months now and not a single problem. No glitches or restarts.

i removed the Audio out from the unit today and the built-in speaker is very audiable even when installed inside the cubby.

No need to buy a separate speaker or extra wires!

Saw this in person yesterday. Really does look incredible. Everyone with a non nav setup should be required to do this.

Got mine in yesterday, flashed with new GPS software and installed. This thing really works great, and looks good too. Install is simple. I'm still trying to figure out where to mount the GPS antenna as the cord it comes with is really short. I'll have some pics posted soon.

OP...where did you put your antenna?

Right in the middle of the dash. The center console still closes tightly even if the wire gets in the way. Of course the wire gets squished but not enough to cutoff. I just used some good double sided tape (3M automotive) and its doing great!

Thats where I have mine but its en eyesore....I know my old GPS antenna was mountable under plastic and I had it in the a-pillar. I might mess around with it tonight.

BTW....the iGO GPS software is awesome. Blows Garmin out of the water.

Doesnt bother me...you can hide it behind the cubby somewhere i suppose.

Have you seen the 3-D buildings yet? When i go into NYC i get all the buildings its very cool!

I haven't seen them in action yet but I did zoom in to my downtown area and the buildings were there, it is pretty cool. The refresh rate on this is better than any GPS i've ever seen, its very smooth.

As for the antenna, I found a great place to mount it. If you pop off the dash panel behind your gauge cluster, there is a little pocket directly behind the tach that it sits in perfectly. I pick up the GPS signal no problem!

The instructions on the PDF are good, but it doesn't mention a few other things that you have to do in order to get it working right. With help from the OP and some internet searching I was able to get it working, and change the boot screen to a Nissan logo.

OP: The nav that comes with the Plenio from the factory just plain sucked, I tried it out before I put the new software on. One thing it did do was boot directly into the GPS when the unit was powered on. Now, you have to tap the "navigation" button to get it working. Do you know if there is a workaround for this?

A friend of mine made it happen with his 05, just took out the center console and took a Dremel to it. Came out looking good, but it will take some modification. You could always get a cubby from an 03, too.

If you are downloading a torrent make sure it has plenty of seeders or it will just sit there and do nothing until someone, somewhere jumps on and shares the file.
