Default Movies on F900BT

Recently, i had a Pioneer AVIC-F900BT installed. Love this unit by all means. Me and the installer at best buy are cool, so he did the E Brake bypass so i could watch movies while it was disengaged and driving. However, I have noticed that while im driving, the audio will work but the video will turn off. whenever i come to a stop light, the video comes back on. Is there a sensor that detects speed which also acts as a way to shut off video while the car is in motion?

im not sure but do you think he might have used the bypass for the brake and not the e-brake?!?!? does the video go off every time you depress the brake pedal?
