Avic D3 Help!
Has anyones Navigation system gotten stuck in a different location and no longer tracks where you are? Mine is stuck in La and I didnt even drive down to LA. My system is about 3 years old now and it never gave me problems until the other day. What do you guys think it is? Maybe the antenna went bad?

when you first power up the D3, it shows you in LA until it reaches signal and pin points you to where you really are...
im not sure how the antenna could come upplugged, but definately check it. also make sure the antenna isnt damaged.....
did you somehow disconnect power? change batteries in the car when this happened?
let us know...

Its been working fine then on wednesday I was at work in tustin. On my lunch the navigation was working fine but then after work I was driving home and I was looking for a bank and it was stuck in LA. When I go into the settings it shows an antenna signal which is weird because its stuck in LA. Tomorrow im going to try and pull it out and see if the cable is messed up or if for whatever reason cables broke or something. I know its not very likely that any those would happen but you never know. Thanks for the help its always good.
yeah, i would bet money thats what it is........i have an avic-d3 in two of my vehicles and have also installed a few for family and friends......

Calibrate it to where you are, then do the 3D calibration thing (I know the D2 has it, but not sure about the D3) Also, do you have the speed wire connected? Is it displaying the correct speed?
