I would say the mounting-position shown in this thread is a bad idea. The viewing angle is awful (and probably dangerous), and it’s too far from the driver.

… but I think it is unrealistic to think you are not going to at least glance at the screen while driving.

I suspect this thread will get a well-deserved lock.

Sorry to all who see this thread and get an eyeful of the debauchery. This newbie has learned 2 valuable lessons on this thread...

1. I will no longer reply, notice or in any way recognize people who can do nothing but hate and tear down other people. I can take a joke, but "JJ" and a little real advice after roasting someone goes a long way!

2. I made just as much of an idiot out of myself as they did when replying to their statements. I am sure that the people who are serious about the conversations here do not want to see that. My apologies...

I don’t think you should regret your thread, and certainly you don’t need to apologize.

You took time to describe your installation, and also provided pictures. That’s what we like to see here.

I asked that a Moderator or Administrator lock the thread since you are receiving some abusive responses, and I don't think you should have to answer these.

I appreciate your posting and your participation on my350z.com.
