I know it's a LONG shot but can anyone tell me if there is an RCA out for a subwoofer amp on the factory head unit? (non-bose) I've scraped up enough cash for the the subwoofer and 6.5 speakers but it will be a month or 2 before I can get the head unit. I was wanted to limp along with the factory unit until then.

Nope. no RCA out on HU (Bose or Non-Bose) You'll need a line-out converter if you don't want to change the HU. You'll also need an AMP to power the Sub (speakers can use HU power for time being) The HU will not power the Sub.

 

Scrape the cash together and get a new head unit. The non-bose head unit is worthless and the root of all audio evil.
