I was looking at the Wicked CAS door pods that come pre-made and was wondering if you guys using them notice a huge difference. They seem pretty expensive for what they are. I just want to know if its justified spending that kind of money for X results. So... how are the results with those door pods? Do they blow you away and totally make your sound quality better? Are there better or cheaper options in mounting a 6.5" woofer in that area?

Door pods are a wise investment and money well spent.

 

I've had them in my car for over a year. There is definately an improvement in sound dispersion. They also look cool!!!...lol

 

+1 and when you get the pods they are very very well made also covered in great looking vinyl. I ran them for over a year just sold them to another forum member they make a big difference.

I made my own and they sound superb. These are a little more robust and have a little more volume for deeper bass than the Wicked CAS pods do.

But still, as an upgrade to stock, they are well worth the money. Just make sure you compliment them with good speakers and a reasonable amount of power...otherwise its kind of a waste.
