This morning I had a Pioneer AVH-P3100DVD player installed on my 350Z. The unit works perfectly but I noticed now the gauge that shows the thermostat reads "----" with the letters "ICY" below it. The temp in Miami BTW is 73. Could they have messed something up with the gauge cluster? I searched here and Google and could not find much about this topic. Help!

 

I think it's very easy that messed something up seeing as you have to disconnect your triple gauges to get the center console off. Take it back!

Yea I'm going back tomorrow. Do you guys know of anything I can do to fix this? Anything to look for? If I could save myself the trip back I would really appreciate it. Am I the only one this has happened too?

 

Nevermind, I just checked it again after letting the car Idle for a couple hours and it's fine now. One of those can't explain it but glad it's working now. BTW guys the Pioneer 3100 is a must have if you are on a budget. $297 New on Amazon when Best Buy and everywhere else is charging $450.
