I've got a 2006 non-Bose Z and am wondering how much of a difference only changing the head unit will make on the sound? Does it make next to no difference or a decent amount?

I'm a moron when it comes to sound systems, so I appreciate any thoughts. I've read through posts here and my eyes glaze over I get lost so quickly. I don't need some tricked out sound system, just something that sounds better than stock.

id buy some speakers for a bigger difference, even if theyre just some coax infinity's
