Default My current subs

Currently i have two 10" subs in the Z sub box that goes under the strut bar.

its powered by a kicker 750 watt amp.

oh yea the subs are CompVR's

not top of the line but they have been doing their job lol

i was wondering if i upgraded the sub speakers to something like JL w3's if i would notice a difference? or would they be under powered and sound worse?

thanks!

What is your overall goal? Are you not happy with the Kickers?

I personally have liked Kickers in the past. I had BothCVR's and The L7's Both hit extremely hard and sounded excellent. The CVR's were powered by 1000 watts and the L7's 2000 watts. I have also had the W3's and did not like them as much. It all depends on your taste. I personally prefer a ported box as well. Like Street said what are you looking to do goal wise.

Doesn't pop? What does that mean? Leave the volume turned up if its not loud enough for you at lower volume as long as it's not clipping.
