Roadster XM Question
I changed out the stock unit for a
Pioneer DEH-P350 that is XM ready.
a J/L 300/4 Amp
(4) J/L XR650Cxi speakers
The sound improvement is excellent with CD's and FM, but I cannot pick up hardly any AM stations.
Any suggestions?
Anyone know where to put an XM antenna on a roadster?

The antenna in the 350z is amplified, which means that you must have power supplied to the amplifier. It is one of the wires in the stock harness. I made my "remote amplifier turn on" wire from my head unit power this wire/amp. No amp = lousy reception if at all.
As far as XM goes I put the antenna between the three console gagues and the windshield and velcroed it there between the two windshield defrost vents. Works perfectly.
I fuggin love XM. I want an xm boombox and brain implant. Maybe for christmas.

between the seats on the back wall? If so what was the reception?
My head unit was put in by the best outfit in town (but Waco is a small town - 200K). Is there a way to check that they did this without removing the dash?
Thanks
