Well, I've been really wanting to install an affordable but decent system in my car and just need help with this:
Here is what I am working with:
I will be powering 1 Image Dynamic IDQ10V3D2 sub which can handle up to 500 watts RMS and is Dual 2 ohms.
Front components- looking into the Polk 6501, which can handle 100 watts RMS or a similar set up for components.
Here is where my trouble lies, which Amps to go with!
I have a brand new Sony Xplod XM-2165GTX 1000 watt 2/1 channel amp with165 watts RMS x2. I know this isn't a great amp but am wondering if I could use it, maybe to power my sub because I think it can be bridged into 2 ohm and put out 400 W RMS...or should I use it to power my front components?
Or...
Should I scrap that and possibly get these two amps?
Alpine M-500 mono sub amp and a supposedly decent amp especially for the price, the JVC KSAX4302 2 ch amp for the components?
Any help would be great!

they're crap the alpine is good but not the jvc you mentioned. if your on a budget check out hifonics or check the mb quarts dsc series they have very nice boards and quality is good without breaking the bank.you really dont need anything too stout for what your running. You can just stick with the alpines but jvc and sony amps is a no go. If you need more options lmk....
