Do you use the rear speakers?
Hey everybody,
Currently, the rear speakers in my 2003 nissan 350z are broken. I'm just wondering if theyre even worth fixing. I've heard that they are pretty useless and that you can't really hear them. What do you guys think about them?

Idk i may have to retract my statement above. Reason why i even put back speakers is because i got new door speakers and didnt want the others to go to waste. If you have rear speakers to spear, then go for it.

Sound quality experts will tell you that the rear speakers are not needed. The example I have been given is that when you go to a concert all of the sound comes from in front of you. It has to do with sound phasing; how long it takes the sound from each speaker to reach your ears, and how your brain perceives sound.
Listening to music with rear fill somehow gives a fuller sound to both me and my girlfriend. Using just the front provides better bass response, but does not sound as good to our ears.
It's all subjective. You can listen to what all the experts say, but if it simply does not sound good to you, why bother?

When you go to a concert do they have speakers behind you? Not normally, if i have a good set of components up front then no rear speakers are unplugged. If going back to stock like i am currently then yes i will run rears.
